Rancho Capistrano - One of California Best Kept Secrets
The Rancho Capistrano Ranch is a private, gated community surrounded by the Cleveland National Forest. Originally a 400 acre working cattle ranch, the property was developed in 1969. At 3,200 feet elevation, we are above smog, which not only results in beautiful clear days, but also provides us with a taste of seasons unseen in lower elevations. The community consists of 133 homesites of approximately 2.5 acres each. It will forever be immune to urban sprawl and each home is custom-built with sizes ranging from 1,800 to 6,500 square feet of living space. This private setting is highlighted by millions of mature oak trees that weave throughout 'the Ranch'.
The area surrounding the community is a playground for equestrian activities and with hiking views of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island, as well as Mount Baldy, Big Bear, and the San Jacinto Mountains. Close by recreational activities include, hang gliding, remote-controlled airplane flying, off-road vehicle park, camping, water skiing, sky diving, and simply star gazing. We are centrally located between Orange County and the Inland Empire making it an easy commute in either direction.
Rancho Capistrano Property Owners Association takes pride in our community and welcomes you to explore the features available to the public on our website.
